Frances Edmonds was a moderator at the CIES World Food Business Summit which took place in Barcelona from 18-20th June 2003. The summit, which is the event for the leaders of the global food business attracted over 900 participants from 40 countries. Ms Edmonds was our event moderator on Friday 20th June 2003. Our brief to run this day and bring it together with all of the sessions from the previous two days were complex. The task was managed with intelligence and wit by Ms Edmonds.
The day's proceedings were opened with a suitable call to attention in the requested theatrical fashion. The day continued at a fast pace, with a large number of equally high profile speakers to be managed on stage and reflected accurately during the event summary.
Ms Edmonds intervention was both entertaining and of key importance for us, always relevant. We have asked Ms Edmonds to join us again at next year's summit in Rome. It has been a pleasure to work with her.

Frances was an absolute pleasure to deal with, laughing and jolly throughout all our dealings.
